The Meeting Point is an alternative designed to support and facilitate children’s and adolescents’ right to maintain relationships with their non-custodial parent (NCP), when the relationship between former spouses has deteriorated and physical presence is not tolerated by one or both parties; or in cases where public administration exercises guardianship; with the aim of ensuring the protection of minors. According to Decree 357/2011, of 21 June, on Technical Services for Meeting Points, the general objectives or functions of the Meeting Point are: **General Objectives:** 1\. To normalize the exercise of minors’ rights to relationship and communication with their parents and/or relatives in conflictual situations, whenever possible and in accordance with the child’s development. 2\. To guarantee minors’ right to relate to their parents and/or relatives, while safeguarding their emotional well-being and protecting them from conflictual interactions and/or any form of violence perpetrated by adults—especially gender-based violence. **Specific Objectives:** * To facilitate visits between the minor and the non-custodial parent(s) and/or extended family. * To provide a neutral and safe space for all involved parties to exercise their rights to relationship and communication with their children. * To minimize negative repercussions for as long as the situation persists. * To inform about the existence of specific tools for addressing existing family difficulties—such as mediation and/or other conflict resolution methods—including their features and advantages, and to offer necessary support to access these alternatives. * To regularly inform referring bodies about the evolution of the visitation regime, any incidents that may arise, and, where appropriate, to make proposals regarding the agreed-upon exercise of relationship and communication rights with children. **Main Responsibilities:** * To conduct observation, intervention, and follow-up of supervised, supported, and monitored visits, as well as exchanges. Specifically, this includes the following tasks. * To act as an interlocutor with the minor and collect their statements concerning observed aspects related to the relationship, working with and channeling them appropriately to relevant professionals and to the referring body. * To supervise that the exercise of relationship and communication rights with children—and with other individuals entitled to visit—is carried out in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Decree. * To draft reports for cases assigned to and requested by referring bodies. * To inform the service management of any incidents occurring during visits and/or other procedures affecting service quality. **Requirements:** * Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Social Education. * Specialized training in at least one of the following areas: gender-based violence, family and systemic therapy, attachment theory, trauma, or new masculinities**.** * Certificate of Absence of Sexual Offences. * Legal knowledge regarding supervised visits and communication rights. * Minimum two years’ experience in any service within the network for intervention and recovery from gender-based violence, such as SIAD, SIE, or other women’s support services; or minimum two years’ experience working with children and adolescents in residential care facilities for child and adolescent protection. * Skills in observation, intervention, and report writing. * Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to diverse situations. **Desirable:** * Residency in Granollers or nearby municipalities. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. **We Offer:** * Contract: Temporary replacement contract. * Schedule: Wednesdays from 10:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00; Fridays from 11:30 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00; Saturdays from 09:30 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00; Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00. * Working hours: 27.5 hours per week (two weeks full schedule and one week reduced schedule: weekends are not worked). * Position category: Senior Technician (Graduate Level). * Salary: As per the Social Action Collective Agreement. Includes diagnostic and report-writing supplement and weekend-hour supplement. * Start date: Immediate.
