Where no two days are the same. **Your Role** ------------- * Developing advanced blade concepts with focus on architecture, structural performance, manufacturing feasibility, and service optimization. * Identifying and assessing new opportunities for blade innovation and strategic development. * Developing advanced blade concepts with focus on architecture, structural performance, manufacturing feasibility, and service optimization. * Assess structural integrity of blades. * Perform conceptual and detailed design of large scale composite structures. * Generate new ideas and concepts for next generation wind turbine blades. * Coordinate and drive design tasks within project design team and with global teams. * Develop innovative structural solutions and new technologies to enable larger, lighter and more efficient wind turbine blades. * Optimize blades for function, simplicity, cost and manufacturability. **Your Profile** ---------------- * Master's degree in mechanical/structural engineering or a related field * 5\+ years of experience (preferrably in the wind industry), specifically in designing composite structures * Good knowledge of composite structures and manufacturing methods * Good understanding of aero\-structure elasticity, plate and shell theory, cross\-sectional analysis of composite beams, and general beam theory * Previous experience as a structural designer, with a focus on composite materials, is desirable * Programming skills, particularly in Python, are beneficial * Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM), especially ANSYS, and knowledge of composite testing at various levels (full, component, and coupon) **What you'll love about working here** --------------------------------------- * Join a multicultural and inclusive team environment. * Enjoy a supportive atmosphere promoting work\-life balance. * Engage in exciting national and international projects. * Hybrid work. * Your career growth is central to our mission.
