Each session includes a theoretical segment, a guided meditation segment, and a silent meditation segment. You may attend weekly or only occasionally—whichever suits you best. During the theoretical segment, we will review various historical traditions and examine how each has approached the subject of meditation: * Meditation in the yoga tradition * Buddhist meditation * Meditation in Tibetan Buddhism * Zen meditation * Taoist meditation * Mindfulness * Shamanic trance * Jewish Kabbalah * Christian mysticism * Meditation in Sufism * Meditation in the *New Age* **Where:** Ortigosa 14, 2nd floor, local 11 – Barcelona (directly behind the Palau de la Música, 2 minutes from Urquinaona metro station) **How to register:** No advance reservation is required to attend these classes; simply arrive at the meditation center five or ten minutes before the scheduled time (please do NOT arrive earlier, as other activities will be taking place in the room!). **What to bring:** During meditation, you may sit on a chair or on the floor using a cushion or stool—your choice. If sitting on the floor, please wear comfortable lower-body clothing that does not constrict, and bring clean, thick socks to avoid soiling the mats and to stay warm. If sitting on a chair, no special attire is required. **Language of instruction:** Spanish. **Pricing and payment methods:** **Single class:** €12 Payable in cash after class. **Monthly subscription – 1 class per week:** €38 Paid via bank direct debit.
