Diverse and international work environment. **Night Receptionist****\-****(f/m/d)** ========================================================== MEININGER Hotel Barcelona Fira Gran Via *Part-Time* **Are you a versatile, empathetic, approachable person with a strong team spirit?** **Get ready for your next professional adventure and join MEININGER Hotel Barcelona Fira Gran Via.** **MEININGER Hotels** We operate over 35 hotels in major European cities… and we’re still growing! **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * You are an excellent host, ensuring your guests enjoy a safe and unforgettable stay. * You take care of our guests’ well-being from check\-in to check\-out. * You support the Bar when needed, assisting with mise\-en\-place of pre-cooked snacks and preparation of cold and hot beverages. * In addition to our guests, you are also the first point of contact for all other visitors, such as suppliers and external technicians. * You answer guests’ questions and inquiries, and know how to direct them to key attractions, local points of interest, and activities. * You handle operational and administrative tasks during the night shift, including billing, cash register closing, and daily closing (Night Audit); responding to emails and online requests; upselling; responding to online reviews, among others. * You enjoy a diverse, international, and inclusive work environment. * You regularly inspect the hotel during the night. * You report and resolve any incidents or issues to the best of your ability in the absence of a manager. * You are flexible and accustomed to working fixed night shifts from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, with weekly rest days stipulated by collective agreement. * You enjoy a diverse, international, and inclusive work environment. * Last but not least: You are an excellent teammate and do not hesitate to occasionally collaborate with other departments. **YOUR PROFILE** * You have initial experience (min. 1 year) working night shifts at reception—and you love it. * You have an extroverted personality and enjoy working in a dynamic environment performing varied tasks. * You are sociable, enjoy helping others, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. * You enjoy teamwork and are willing to support your colleagues and tackle challenges together. * You are proficient in using PMS systems (e.g., SIHOT, ASSD, Fidelio). * You speak Spanish and English fluently.
