Description
At VINCLE – Association for Social Research and Action, we are seeking a Technician for the First Welcome Service in Ripollet.
• Receive and provide information to newly arrived individuals requesting the service.
• Initiate and open individual files, informing users about the purpose of the service, the process, the pathway to obtain the welcome certificate, and its usefulness.
• Conduct individual and/or collective welcome interviews.
• Identify the knowledge and competencies required to obtain the welcome certificate and provide follow-up until its acquisition.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver Module C (knowledge of Catalan society and its legal framework), and coordinate Module A (Catalan language) with teaching staff.
• Inform and accompany newly arrived individuals regarding municipal public services, local organizations, and social agents; accompany them as needed.
• Provide support and follow-up on immigration-related administrative procedures and files.
• Draft immigration-related reports and manage corresponding files.
• Refer individuals to other services and training resources when necessary.
• Prepare follow-up reports and the annual service report.
• Coordinate with the municipal department responsible for the service and with the entity’s area coordinator.
• Coordinate and collaborate within a network of social agents and territorial services related to migrant populations.
• Support and activate migrant associations and religious communities in the municipality.
• Promote interculturalism and social cohesion.
* Minimum 1 year of experience. Experience working with immigrant populations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
* Bachelor’s degree in Social Education.
* Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology.
* Catalan (spoken and written at an advanced level).
* Spanish (spoken and written at an advanced level).
* Competencies / Knowledge: Requirements and competencies:
• MANDATORY: University degree in the field of social sciences.
• MANDATORY: Experience working with immigrant populations.
• MANDATORY: Advanced-level university studies in Catalan and Spanish equivalent to CEFR level C1.
• Postgraduate studies in immigration and diversity management will be considered an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Catalan and Spanish.
• Proficiency in interview techniques and communication skills.
• Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• MANDATORY: A cover letter must be included in the same file as the CV.
* Temporary employment contract (6 months).
* Part-time position (35 hours per week).
* Additional relevant details: Characteristics:
• Weekly workload: 35 hours/week.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 15:00.
• Remuneration: According to the Social Action Collective Agreement, Senior Graduate Technician (Group II).
• Start date: Immediate, until January 3rd.
• Location: Ripollet.
