To support this growth, we are hiring a **Finance Manager** to join a dynamic team in our Barcelona office and continue building a world\-class, creative organization by finding the best talent for our incredible culture. **Missions** ------------ Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Finance Manager based in Barcelona is responsible for ensuring the reliability of financial records, overseeing monthly closings, and coordinating accounting and tax matters for the French and Spanish entities, in close collaboration with external accounting firms, FinOps teams, auditors, and Boats Group’s accounting teams. **Objective**: To guarantee accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting aligned with local requirements and group standards. ###### **Accounting \& Management Oversight** * Managing the accounting department, including a Senior Accountant based in Barcelona (prioritization, coaching, skills development). * Supervising general and subsidiary ledgers (receivables, payables, banks, fixed assets). * Implementing and monitoring accounting procedures (cut\-off, account reconciliations, documentation). ###### **Monthly Closings \& Financial Reporting** * Overseeing monthly closings (planning, cut\-off, analytical reviews, variance explanations). * Coordinating accounting for French and Spanish subsidiaries: managing relationships with external accounting firms, critically reviewing and validating deliverables. * Preparing monthly financial reports (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs). * Managing operational accounting in coordination with FinOps teams (ensuring data accuracy, reconciliations, variance analysis, continuous improvement). ###### **Consolidation \& Reporting Package** * Collaborating with the group’s consolidation teams (intercompany reconciliations, mapping, cut\-off, controls). * Supervising bi\-annual consolidation performed by an external consolidator: scoping, coordination, review of journal entries, and preparation of the reporting package. ###### **Audit \& Compliance** * Managing relationships during audit and statutory audit engagements: preparing PBC lists, coordinating efforts, responding to queries, and tracking recommendations. * Monitoring applicable accounting and tax regulations for the group’s activities (France/Spain) and ensuring internal practices remain compliant. **Treasury \& Cash Management** * Monitoring cash position, short\/medium-term cash forecasting, and securing payments. * Banking relationships (account opening\/management, signing authorities, KYC compliance, payment flow optimization). ###### **Additional Responsibilities** * Coordinating specific topics: transfer pricing / intercompany matters, re-invoicing, documentation, intra-group agreements. * Implementing pragmatic internal controls: segregation of duties, audit trails, key controls, access management for systems. * Ensuring data integrity of master data (chart of accounts, analytical dimensions, cost centers, consolidation mapping). * Continuous improvement \& tools: optimizing processes and maintaining closing timelines; contributing to finance tool evolution — rules, automation, data quality, documentation. ###### **Deliverables \& Success Metrics** * Monthly closings delivered on time and without major reservations. * Up\-to\-date account reconciliations, properly scoped intercompany balances, and fully explained variances. * Reliable financial reporting (P\&L / balance sheet / cash flow / KPIs). * Smooth audits: proactive request handling, clean documentation, rapid resolution of findings. * More robust finance processes. ### **Why Join Us?** **A Strategic and Visible Role** You hold a key position within a rapidly expanding international group.
