




Position Summary: We are seeking a Finance Consulting Manager with experience in finance function transformation, project leadership, and business development, engaging directly with CFOs and their teams. Our ambition is to deliver long-term value—to our clients, to our people, and to society—as the world’s most recognized professional services firm. **What We Are Looking For?** Currently, we are seeking to hire a **Finance Consulting Manager** for our Madrid or Barcelona office, with over 7 years of consulting experience in Finance function transformation projects, both nationally and internationally. **The selected candidate’s key responsibilities will include:** * End-to-end management of Finance function transformation projects, including but not limited to: + Diagnostics of the Finance function from multiple perspectives: value creation, innovation, processes, organization & governance, information systems & data. + Definition of the Finance function’s transformation strategy and roadmap. + Design and implementation of new Finance operational models—including Shared Service Centers (SSCs) and Global Business Services (GBS)—from analysis, design, and business case development through to implementation support. + Design and process reengineering of end-to-end financial processes, focused on improving effectiveness (value agenda), efficiency, and control. + Organizational transformation of the Finance function. + Digital Finance—integrated digital transformation of the Finance function, leveraging emerging technologies and new ways of working, including AI at all levels of maturity. + Support/advisory services for change implementation and management, delivered via Finance Transformation Offices and PMOs. * Leadership in client interaction with CFOs and their direct reports. * Business development. * Leadership in shaping, managing, and preparing commercial proposals. * Team leadership, serving as a role model and mentor for managers and consultants. **Requirements:** * We seek proactive, innovative professionals eager to engage in developing new solutions that accelerate our clients’ transformation journeys. * Minimum 7 years of prior experience in similar roles, managing programs across the areas outlined above: + Finance function diagnostics and transformation. + Analysis, design, and implementation of Shared Service Centers and/or GBSs. + Optimization and improvement of financial processes (PTP, OTC, RTR…). + Organizational transformation of the Finance function. + Digitalization of the Finance function. + Value Office within Finance Transformation Offices. * Strong project management, team leadership, communication, and leadership skills; accustomed to collaborating in multidisciplinary environments with strong client orientation. * Very high-level stakeholder engagement—professionals experienced in interacting with CFOs, CTOs, and other members of executive leadership teams. * Advanced English proficiency (C1\). * International project experience will be viewed favorably. * Knowledge and experience with leading Finance technologies—such as SAP S4/Hana FI-CO/PA, SAC, Blackline, Celonis, Power BI, OneStream, Kyriba, AI, among others—will also be considered advantageous. **What We Offer:** * Continuous learning: You’ll develop the mindset and skills to tackle new challenges. * AI-driven innovation: EY leads global investment in AI applied to business processes and solutions.
