Job Summary: We are seeking a young 2nd Maître to lead, plan, and supervise operations, ensuring high-quality, professional, and efficient service at a centrally located hotel in Barcelona. CATALONIA HOTELS & RESORTS is looking for a young candidate to join our team as 2nd MAITRE at the PLAÇA CATALUNYA hotel, located in the heart of Barcelona. The main responsibilities include: * Leading, planning, and executing all activities within their department. * Responsible for ensuring high-quality, professional, and efficient service to guests. * Knowledgeable about and able to advise on various food and wine menu items. * In charge of greeting, escorting, and assigning tables to guests. * Collecting guest satisfaction feedback during service. * Supervising the setup and restocking of meeting rooms or other event venues. * Maintaining restaurant/bar areas in perfect condition. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a waiter in events and à la carte service. * Advanced English + Other languages are an asset. * Outgoing personality, passion for customer service, and strong presence. Dynamic and organized individual. * Customer-oriented mindset and positive attitude. * Leadership ability and capacity to work effectively in a team. * Education in hospitality.
