LOGISTICS MANAGER

Description

We are seeking a Logistics Manager who, reporting to Management, will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, agile, and competitive operation of the logistics chain, guaranteeing service levels, resource optimization, and continuous process improvement. Define and implement the company's logistics strategy, setting short-, medium-, and long-term objectives. Plan and optimize logistics flows, ensuring operational efficiency of warehouses and distribution. Manage and coordinate storage, receiving, order picking, and dispatch operations. Ensure product availability through proper stock planning and procurement. Monitor inventories and drive initiatives aimed at reducing costs, lead times, and incidents. Coordinate national and international transportation, ensuring required service levels. Manage external logistics providers and specialized partners. Lead logistics process improvement, digitalization, and automation projects. Define, analyze, and monitor logistics KPIs (service level, inventory, turnover, on-time-in-full, costs, and productivity). Prepare and manage the department's budget. Coordinate with various organizational departments to ensure proper supply chain operation. Lead, develop, and motivate the logistics team. * Minimum 5 years of experience. University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Additional training in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics leadership roles within industrial environments. Experience in warehouse management, national and international distribution, transportation, and foreign trade. * UNIVERSITY DEGREE * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * English (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics planning tools.
