We are seeking to hire **a Structural Specialist** to join our technical team in Barcelona, located in Cerdanyola del Vallès. The selected candidate will participate in the technical review, analysis, and auditing of structural projects, primarily within the building sector and in contexts related to technical control, technical control bodies, and project review. Additionally, the candidate will progressively assume the role of an internal technical reference for structural matters, supporting the team in resolving technical queries, supervising work carried out by other technicians, contributing to the definition of review criteria, and collaborating in the development and improvement of internal technical procedures. We seek a candidate with prior experience in structural engineering who wishes to continue professional development and assume greater technical autonomy and responsibility within the team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Technical review and analysis of building structural projects. * Verification of technical documentation, reports, drawings, calculations, and structural justifications. * Execution and review of structural models developed using CYPE. * Application of technical regulations: CTE (Spanish Building Code), Structural Code, and Eurocodes. * Preparation and review of technical reports, calculation notes, and supporting documentation. * Participation in structural pathology studies, damage diagnosis, and proposals for repair or reinforcement. * Resolution of team technical queries related to structural engineering. * Technical supervision of work performed by other technicians, particularly regarding calculation, documentary review, and structural criteria. * Definition, review, and improvement of internal technical criteria and procedures related to structural engineering. * Support in the technical quality control of departmental work. * Technical mentoring of junior profiles or inspectors on structural engineering matters. **Requirements:** * University degree in engineering, architecture, or construction: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Public Works Technical Engineering, Architecture, Technical Architecture, Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent current or previous qualifications. * Approx. 8 years of experience in structural engineering, project review, structural calculation, technical assistance, or Technical Control Bodies (OCT). * Solid knowledge of building structural systems. * Proficiency in CYPE for reviewing models, results, and calculation criteria. * Ability to technically review work performed by other professionals. * Ability to define technical criteria, review procedures, and internal work guidelines. * Interest in professional development as a technical reference within the structural engineering field. **Offered:** * Full-time position. * Integration into a specialized technical team. * Stable position with professional growth opportunities. * A technical role with internal influence on criteria, procedures, and technical quality.
