At 011h, we are looking for a Tech Lead to join our team: **What You’ll Do:** * Technically lead a full-stack engineering squad of 3\-6 engineers, define the technical direction of the domain, and be accountable for the quality of our deliverables. * Design and implement microservices architectures following Domain-Driven Design (DDD), write Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and guide trade-off decisions (build vs. buy, technical debt vs. delivery, consistency vs. autonomy). * Stay hands-on: approximately half of your time will remain dedicated to development—especially in the most critical or high-risk parts of the system. * Lead code reviews and mentorship within the squad, elevating the team’s technical level and unblocking colleagues. * Collaborate from Day 0 with Product Managers and Designers to ensure technical solutions align with product vision and user experience. * Champion our AI-native culture: integrate tools like Claude Code into the squad’s daily workflow, contribute to automated workflows (e.g., "claude-ready" tickets, assisted review, PR generation), and share learnings across Engineering. * Own the technical roadmap for your domain: identify relevant technical debt, plan refactors, define SLOs, and ensure observability. * Enforce best practices for security, testing, performance, and CI/CD throughout the development lifecycle. * Contribute to the platform strategy alongside the Head of Engineering, participating in organization-wide decisions (infrastructure, standards, AI governance). * Represent your squad technically in cross-functional forums and report progress to leadership using actionable metrics. **Tech Stack** * Backend: Python with FastAPI, domain-oriented microservices architecture (DDD), APIs-first. * Frontend: TypeScript with React, Zustand (global state management), TanStack, React Router. * Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ (with Protocol Buffers for message serialization), Redis. * Infrastructure & Deployment: AWS, EKS, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, KEDA, GitLab CI, Docker. * Quality: Automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Pytest), Security by Design. * AI & Productivity: Claude Code, CodeRabbit, and other tools we’ll adopt as part of our AI-native strategy. **Requirements** **What We Need From You:** * 6\+ years of software development experience, including 2\+ years technically leading teams or squads (e.g., Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Senior+ with leadership scope). * Strong full-stack experience, or deep expertise in one layer (Backend with Python/FastAPI or Frontend with React/TypeScript) with demonstrated fluency in the other. * Experience designing and implementing production-ready microservices architectures—ideally with a Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approach. * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar brokers). * Experience writing ADRs and leading architectural decisions with clearly documented trade-offs. * Demonstrable track record of technical mentorship and team upskilling via code reviews, pair programming, or training initiatives. * Experience with CI/CD, cloud deployments (AWS preferred), Docker, and production observability. * Solid understanding of security and testing best practices across the development lifecycle. * Experience working with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) and active willingness to lead their adoption. * Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other squads, and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences. * Fluent communication in both Spanish and English. **Bonus** * Prior experience in construction tech, PropTech, AEC, or BIM/IFC tools. * Experience scaling engineering teams (hiring processes, technical onboarding, career path definition). * Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) * Experience building or integrating AI pipelines into products (LLMs, OCR, agents). **Benefits** **What We Offer** * Real impact: Join a company transforming construction toward a sustainable and planet-positive model * Professional growth: Individual development plan with continuous learning and training opportunities * Great atmosphere and collaboration: A multidisciplinary, diverse team with a supportive and close-knit culture * Well-being and work-life balance: We value the balance between your personal and professional life—so you enjoy two remote workdays per week * Sustainable offices: Pleasant spaces designed for collaboration and environmental respect * ️ 30 working days of vacation per year so you can fully enjoy your personal time *At 011h, we foster diversity and inclusion.
