Junior SCADA Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a junior or recently graduated engineer with knowledge in software development and SCADA programming to configure, program, and customize traffic management solutions, and provide sales support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Configure and program traffic management solutions. 2. Provide sales support and design solutions during pre-sales and tendering phases. 3. At Kapsch, we are looking for a junior or recently graduated engineer preferably with prior knowledge and/or experience in software development and SCADA programming. Responsibilities: * Configure, program, and customize Kapsch's traffic management solution, including HMI modifications, database modifications, testing, and commissioning of applied changes. * Additionally, provide sales support, prepare estimates for work to be carried out, and design solutions during pre-sales and tendering phases. Requirements: * University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field * Basic technical knowledge of relational databases, networks and communication protocols, scripting, and operating systems * Advanced level of spoken and written English * Intermediate level of spoken and written Spanish * Willingness to travel occasionally (both nationally and internationally) Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of programming and configuration of systems, preferably SCADAs (WinCC / ClearSCADA / Wonderware, etc.) * Experience in user interface design * Familiarity with virtualized environments Our Offer: * Permanent employment contract * Flexible compensation plan * Flexible working hours * 30 working days of vacation * Hybrid work model * Location: Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, or Seville, depending on the candidate's preference.
