Our Clinical Diagnostic Division (CDD) is seeking its new **Field Application Specialist** **(M/F)** for the Eastern region of Spain. **Position Summary:** The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) will ensure efficient use of appropriate technologies, products, and services by providing support and advice to customers and end users. This FAS position will also provide support and training to the Sales Team. The FAS position is responsible for delivering in-depth scientific and technical support regarding the solutions, analyzers, and reagents supplied, ensuring our customers’ needs are met and aligned with our capabilities. Remote position based in the Barcelona area. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide technical and service support for instrumentation and reagents. * Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports. * Application and field support (troubleshooting, installing applications, performing product validation, solving customer problems, following up on customer needs/problems). * Carry out customer visits to resolve product and technical issues. * Lead technical product specification & application discussions with clients & prospects. * Deliver effective training activities & workshops on applications and instrumentation. * Support Sales activities in product troubleshooting & complaint handling / investigation activities, including provision of data and feedback to Sales Support. * Lead all aspects of qualification/validation studies & programs initiated with clients in collaboration with internal functional groups, as applicable. **Minimum requirements, qualifications and skills:** * Master’s degree, PhD (or equivalent) in analytical chemistry, molecular biology or life sciences. * Experience working within Bio-Technical / Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Biological, Medicine, Chemical and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries. * Field and/or hotline experience in customer support before and/or after sales. * Knowledge of analytical equipment in the field of in vitro diagnostics or in a regulated environment. * Strong collaborative approach, ability to work remotely/independently, excellent communication skills, and ability to efficiently prioritize workload and emergencies. * Fluent English (written & spoken); knowledge of other European languages is desirable (French would be a plus). * Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within the defined territory and other areas as needed, which may include international travel. * Valid driver's license. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
