Job Summary: We are seeking a geriatric care assistant to support resident care, assist with daily activities, and promote their autonomy in Siero (Asturias). Key Points: 1. Promotes autonomy and safety of elderly people We are looking for personnel to work as a geriatric care assistant in Siero (Asturias). Responsibilities include supporting the team in developing individualized care plans, assisting residents with daily basic activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, medication administration, using the restroom, and mobility, as well as monitoring their condition and promoting their autonomy and safety. Applicants must hold a qualifying qualification, such as the CFGM in Nursing Auxiliary Technician, the Professional Certificate in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions, or equivalent qualifications. Availability to travel to the workplace in Balbona is also required. A temporary contract is offered, with full-time hours on a rotating weekly shift schedule (morning, afternoon, and night shifts, with scheduled rest days). Salary and other employment conditions are governed by the VIII State Framework Collective Agreement for Services for Dependent Persons and Promotion of Personal Autonomy.
