Description

The SoC Architecture team is responsible for defining the high-performance and energy-efficient System-on-Chip hardware architecture. The team identifies hardware requirements, defines the overall SoC system, and delivers the high-level architecture specification (HAS) that integrates multiple processing units, memory, interconnects, accelerators, interfaces, and peripherals to achieve optimal power, performance, area, and cost (PPAC). The team is also responsible for overall aspects of security, debugging, production testing, device packaging, and for defining and maintaining configuration management processes for scalable and configurable architectures. The team works closely with product engineering, technology, software, and AI and hardware teams for design implementation and verification. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hardware architectures, VLSI design, and a successful track record in the industry deploying IPs into large SoCs while working in a collaborative environment. In this team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: · Designing and defining the overall SoC, including processing units, hardware accelerators, memory, interconnects, interfaces, and analog components. · Working hand-in-hand with product architects ensuring the hardware architecture meets product goals. · Performing system-level modeling and analysis to optimize power, performance, area, and cost. · Collaborating with software and firmware teams for efficient and optimal system co-design. · Evaluating new processes, technologies, industry trends, and standards. · Performing identification, analysis, and selection of hard and soft IP. · Leading architecture definition, reviewing, and providing technical guidance. · Working with microarchitects across the organization to align product and architecture definitions. · Collaborating with design implementation, verification, physical design, software, and firmware teams for design development and convergence. · Supporting SoC execution at project milestones by working with all cross-functional teams to identify and drive resolution of complex dependencies. · Defining and developing system-level methodologies, tools, and IP to build SoCs efficiently and scalably. * Experience 10 years. More than 10 years of solid experience in IP/SoC architecture and design for ASIC or FPGA · Experience with architecture trade-offs and design methodologies for optimal power, performance, area, and cost (PPAC) in advanced technologies. · Competency in performance modeling, simulation frameworks, and scripting. · Strong industry knowledge and experience in multiple aspects of SoC architecture definition, such as clocks, resets, power sequencing, power management, interrupts, interconnects, boot-up, virtualization, security, system performance, IO technologies, platform integration. · Experience with RISC-V based systems. · General knowledge of standard industry integration tools and SoC implementation standards, interconnects (AMBA, AXI, CHI), and interfaces (PCIe, UCIe, I2C, I3C, SPI, JTAG). · General knowledge of advanced packaging (2.5D, 3D, SiP, CoWoS) and chiplets. * OFFICIAL MASTER'S DEGREE * official master's degree - computer science-electronics * English (upper spoken, upper written) * Skills / knowledge: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. We seek team players who focus on team outcomes over individual needs, with mutual respect and honest challenge. Individuals are encouraged to work well within teams. You have good communication skills and enjoy working with your colleagues, having fun while striving to do your best to deliver unique products to our customers. * Indefinite employment contract * Full time * Gross monthly salary from '2250' to '4165' * Additional information: • Join an innovative team and experience company growth. • We believe in investing in our employees and providing them with the opportunities they need to grow and develop their professional careers. • Enjoy a hybrid work environment. • We also offer flexible hours. • We offer compensation that values your experience. • The position will be based in Barcelona or, as an alternative location, Rome (Italy). We are looking for outstanding individuals willing to join our mission to transform this industry and help build a better world. We can offer a competitive compensation package within a flexible work arrangement that will help you maintain a balance between your personal and professional life.
