### **Who Are We Looking For**
A chemist with experience in modeling surface/adsorbate interactions and photo/beam\-induced surface modifications. You thrive in a collaborative fast paced environment working on complex, interconnected, and evolving problems with a strong drive to learn new concepts.
### **What you’ll do**
As the Computational Chemist for Resist Modeling, your main contributions will include to:
* Model the interaction of a resist with metastable atoms capable of quantitative evaluation of our physical models.
* Build a full resist simulation framework for a variety of resist materials, integrating resist activation physics and defect mechanisms into our mask design optimization.
* Work with our Bergen team and external collaborators to optimize resist behaviour and performance.
### **Who you are**
### **Minimum Qualifications**
* PhD in Computational Chemistry/Physics or related field with a strong focus on quantum chemistry, including adsorbate layers and bond breaking reactions.
* Strong knowledge in fundamentals of chemistry and surface/adsorbate interactions.
* Expertise in density functional theory (DFT), molecular orbital (MO) modeling, and related quantum simulation tools.
### **Desired qualifications**
* Previous experience working with photon/beam\-induced surface modification or electron/molecule interactions.
* 1\-2 years of industry or post\-doc experience.
* Experience working with experimental teams or direct lab experience.
* Strong coding skills in Python or scientific computing frameworks.
* Experience working with resists ideally in lithography R\&D, is a major bonus.
