**Description:** ---------------- Groundforce, a company committed to equal opportunities, is seeking to incorporate a Shift Planning Manager into its base in Las Palmas de Gran Canarias. In accordance with the guidelines set by the Airport Operations Directorate, the role will be responsible for analysing and managing staff shift planning, aligned with the Company’s defined strategy and in compliance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. **Main responsibilities will include:** * Analysing and reviewing all shift planning processes affecting workforce scheduling, with the aim of enhancing the quality and productivity of these shifts. * Collecting and leveraging the necessary data to meet the operational needs of the base efficiently. * Analysing new proposals and strategies to respond to changes in operational requirements, accompanied by daily monitoring and control to enable appropriate adjustments. * Preparing control reports for submission to Management and Department Heads. * Meeting weekly and monthly shift publication targets in terms of both timing and quality. * Leading and managing a team of Shift Planning Technicians to foster synergies that promote performance efficiency and productivity. **Requirements:** --------------- * Degree in Engineering, Business Administration (ADE) or related field. * Advanced Excel proficiency (charts, pivot tables, logical formulas, etc.) is essential. * Knowledge of and experience using shift planning systems and applications for complex data integration. VBA knowledge is highly desirable. * Labour law knowledge and ability to interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements is desirable. * Experience in personnel management and daily interaction with Workers’ Legal Representatives (RLT). * Ability to work under high-stress conditions and meet strict deadlines. * Problem-solving profile, agile, and capable of rapid adaptation to change. * Efficiency and determination to prioritise daily tasks while accounting for unforeseen challenges. * Leadership skills and proven experience managing diverse teams are required. * A disability certificate indicating a disability level of 33% or higher is an advantage.
