DMA4 Amazon **What It’s Like to Work in an Amazon Warehouse** -------------------------------------------- You’ll join the team at an Amazon fulfillment center, where you’ll manage inventory, sort, and prepare customer orders. Depending on the location, you’ll work in a distribution center, sorting center, or delivery station. ### **Depending on the site, your responsibilities may include the following:** * Receiving and preparing inventory for shipment * Using handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders * Packing, wrapping, sorting, and moving pallets and packages * Loading and unloading trucks * Operating powered industrial trucks (free training and certification provided when applicable) ### **You’ll also need to be able to do the following:** * Lift up to 15 kg independently * Use safe practices and methods to handle items weighing more than 15 kg (location-dependent) * Read instructions on screens and follow directions for certain tasks * Stand, walk, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach overhead during shifts * Use carts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move products * Climb up and down stairs (when applicable) * Work in an environment with variable temperatures and moving vehicles * Work at heights up to 13 m on mezzanine levels (when applicable) **Additional Requirements:** Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in Spanish to understand and comply with all job requirements and safety guidelines. **Real Benefits.
