Active participation in the system's technical evolution ### **About the Role:** We are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** to join a product-focused engineering team, where you will play a key role in developing and evolving a high-impact technology platform that drives business value. This position requires a strong technical foundation in **Python and TypeScript**, with full-stack capabilities, ability to contribute to architectural decisions, and experience building scalable production systems. The role has a strong focus on **applied AI**, so hands-on experience using AI tools or integrations within development is essential. You will work closely with Product and business teams, exercising high ownership over solutions and participating across the entire development lifecycle (from design to production), while actively contributing to the system’s technical evolution. **Important:** This role is **100% on-site in Madrid**, so we seek candidates committed to working from the office and actively engaging with the team day-to-day. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Contribute to and influence architecture decisions in a **full-stack (TypeScript \+ Python)** environment Lead end-to-end development of complex features (design, development, production) * Build and scale systems using **Node.js, React, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS** * Design and implement solutions integrating **AI capabilities (LLMs, automation, or data-driven solutions)** * Collaborate with Product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions * Improve system performance, scalability, and technical quality * Use **AI tools daily** and contribute to engineering best practices ### **Must Have:** * 8\+ years of software development experience * Strong experience with **TypeScript (Node.js \+ React)** * Strong experience with **Python in production environments** * Experience building and deploying scalable systems * Demonstrated ability to **lead and deliver end-to-end solutions** * Practical experience using **AI tools in daily development** * Solid knowledge of **software architecture, system design, and scalability** * Experience with **cloud environments (AWS preferred)** * Strong communication and collaborative skills * Availability to work **100% on-site in Madrid** * Interest in a **full-time (not freelance)** role with high commitment. ### **Nice to Have:** * Experience with **LLMs, RAG, or AI systems in production** * Experience with **Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud-native architectures** * Experience participating in **0-to-1 developments** * Experience in **regulated environments (healthcare, data, fintech, etc.)** We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
