We are more than 121,000 professionals working in multidisciplinary teams with profiles as diverse as financiers, legal experts, data scientists, developers, engineers and designers. **Learn more about the area:** Group Financial Statements (GFS) is one of the core services within Accounting \& Regulatory Reporting (A\&RR), whose objective is to prepare and control the Group's consolidated financial statements, public and prudential accounting reporting, as well as control of the accounting equity. **About the job:** **Education** * University degree, preferably in **Business Administration and Management, Economics**, or related fields. * Knowledge of **International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)**. * Knowledge of banking accounting and accounting regulations applicable to the financial sector. * Knowledge of **regulatory reporting** addressed to banking supervisors (Bank of Spain, European Central Bank, European Banking Authority, Bank for International Settlements, among others). * English proficiency level **C1** or higher. **Professional Experience** * Between **1\-** **3 years** of experience in financial institutions or in similar roles related to banking accounting, financial consolidation, or regulatory reporting. * Experience in preparing and analyzing financial and regulatory information. * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (pivot tables, advanced functions, and handling large volumes of data). * Regular use of Google Workspace collaborative tools (Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc.). * Experience in **process automation**, **programming** (Python, SQL, VBA or similar), data analysis, and use of **Generative Artificial Intelligence tools** (LLMs) applied to the financial and regulatory domain will be valued. **Skills** * Teamwork and collaboration in multidisciplinary and international environments. * Leadership and influence capabilities. * Proactivity, initiative, and innovation orientation. * Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact with stakeholders from different areas and geographies. * Ability to analyze and solve complex problems. * Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic and transformative environments. * High analytical, planning, organizational, and control capabilities. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** * Preparation of various **financial and regulatory reports** addressed to national and international supervisors (Bank of Spain, European Central Bank, European Banking Authority, Bank for International Settlements), both at consolidated and individual levels. * Preparation of financial information required for the **Annual Accounts**, as well as for forms **20\-F** and **6\-K**. * Coordination with Accounting and Reporting teams across Group entities to ensure proper application of accounting and reporting policies. * Review, analysis, and validation of information received from various geographies. * Analysis of variances and preparation of explanations regarding major deviations identified in each regulatory close. * Liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of reported information. * Interaction with supervisors and regulatory bodies to address inquiries related to submitted regulatory statements. * Ensuring the quality, consistency, and traceability of regulatory information in coordination with other involved areas. * Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of procedures, methodologies, and documentation associated with regulatory reporting processes. * Participation in automation, optimization, and transformation initiatives for reporting processes through the use of new technologies and data analysis tools. **Skills:** Communication
