We are currently seeking to hire an **Operations Excellence Manager** for our offices located in **Coslada (Madrid) or Barcelona.** In this project, you will have the opportunity to lead the continuous improvement of Contract Logistics operations across all centers, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, process standardization, and successful onboarding of new clients. You will serve as the reference point for productivity, cost models (cost model), and Lean methodology implementation across the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** * Operational Standardization and Control: Review, define, and optimize operational processes. Ensure consistency across centers through best practices. Identify deviations and propose corrective action plans. * Cost Model Management: Develop and maintain customer-specific cost models. Validate cost structures (fixed, variable, and indirect). Align productivity targets, staffing levels, and pricing. Collaborate with the commercial team on complex proposals. * Productivity and Operational Studies: Design time studies, methods analysis, and productivity assessments. Analyze key processes (picking, packing, inbound, etc.). Validate theoretical vs. actual standards and generate internal benchmarks. * KPIs & Performance Management: Define and monitor KPIs (productivity, volume, OTIF, SLA). Create dashboards and reporting for management. Identify deviations and activate corrective action plans. * Lean Management & Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean methodology across centers. Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Drive a culture of operational excellence. * New Operation Start-ups: Participate in the design of new projects. Support on-site start-ups and ensure stabilization. * Cross-functional Support to Operations: Collaborate with Site Managers and Distribution Management. Support during critical incidents. Technical Knowledge: * WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). * Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. * KPI management and data analysis. * Demand planning and supply chain management.
