The Architecture team defines the optimal architectural solution for each project. Collaborating with CFE teams across our Business Units (Finance, Risk, R\&IC, etc.) on relevant projects critical to the transformation of these areas. The primary mission is translating business requirements into an appropriate solution architecture. The architecture definition process inherently involves selecting the most innovative and suitable technologies aligned with strategy, defining vertical architecture lines, and maximizing AI advantages. **About the job:** **Main responsibilities:** * Responsible for defining the architecture solution to be used in projects for the supported Business Area. * Producing the Solution Architecture Design enabling the Engineering team to execute the project. * Aligning functional and technical requirements with strategic guidelines set by Architecture. * Maintaining continuous contact with Architecture disciplines and business areas to understand current discipline-specific solutions and customer needs. * Engaging with Vendors and teams across various geographies for evaluation of new SaaS tools. **Requirements** **Required education:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics, or Engineering. **Specific knowledge:** * Required technical knowledge of application development technologies (front-end, back-end, or middle-tier). * Knowledge of application architectural patterns. * Preferred knowledge of cloud platforms Amazon AWS / Google GCP, AI and/or big data. * Preferred functional knowledge of Finance and/or Risk and/or R\&IC or banking environments. * Preferred knowledge of architecture solutions used at BBVA (LRA/LRBA, ASO/APX, Cells, BEA, IA, ADA, ...). * Required English language proficiency (minimum B2). **Experience:** * Experience defining architecture solutions or relevant experience in enterprise application development projects (minimum 8 years). * Strong ability to learn new technologies. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Analytical and synthesis capabilities. **Skills:** Building Architecture, Corporate Functions, Ether, Functional Designs, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Java (Programming Language), Resolume, Software as a Service (SaaS), Solution Architecture, Solutions Design, Technical Designs
