We are currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join the Sandvik Mining team at our Madrid (San Fernando de Henares) site. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection activities using various tools and techniques, with limited supervision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Repair and replacement of parts, following equipment technical instructions and manuals. * Interpret basic mechanical drawings and maintenance, assembly, and disassembly manuals to carry out necessary alignments and adjustments. * Perform maintenance tasks independently and verify task outcomes, as well as monitor operating equipment to detect potential issues. * Report and document executed work according to relevant procedures and work instructions. * Basic customer communication: can explain basic operational procedures and refer to the responsible person. * Provide feedback to line manager/team leader regarding equipment maintenance and service challenges. * Ensure all work procedures (using provided tools) are carried out in accordance with safety standards. * Prepare and execute all activities in compliance with SHEQ standards, regulations, procedures, instructions, and guidelines, and promote awareness—including reporting anomalies to others.
