Job Summary: We are seeking a home care assistant to support users in daily activities, foster their autonomy and well-being, including support for minors with disabilities. Key Highlights: 1. Close collaboration to promote user independence We are looking for a home care assistant to work in Fuente el Saz de Jarama and nearby areas such as Alcobendas and Algete. The primary responsibility is to ensure user well-being by assisting with daily activities including personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility within the home. Medication administration under medical prescription and scheduling medical appointments, if necessary, are also included. For minors with disabilities, responsibilities extend to home-based care and school accompaniment. It is required to foster the individual's autonomy, physical and cognitive activity, as well as enhance self-esteem and social relationships. Tasks include supervising hygiene habits, assisting with mobility, and ensuring a healthy environment. Interaction is empathetic and aims to promote user independence to the greatest extent possible. This position offers a morning shift from 07:00 to 16:00 hours, with a temporary contract that may become permanent. Immediate start is required, and the role involves 30 weekly working hours in the aforementioned areas. * Vocational training at intermediate level: Social-Healthcare Technician; Technician in Care for Dependent Persons; or Social-Healthcare Training Program for Home-Based Care * Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar position is desirable. * Additional training in gerontology, food handling, or related fields is preferred. * Completion of courses related to this field, as well as supplementary training promoting equality, will be positively considered.
