Project and Technical Proposal Engineer for Waste Treatment

We are currently seeking to incorporate a Project and Technical Proposal Engineer into our Madrid Waste Treatment team. **What would your responsibilities be?** * Technically and operationally analyze waste treatment plant processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and regulatory compliance. * Prepare technical studies and comparative proposals for waste treatment plant projects (MBT and other facilities). * Perform material and energy balance calculations, verifying consistency of processes and associated facility consumption. * Review and validate technical documentation and engineering drawings, ensuring their alignment with project specifications. * Coordinate with Projects, Business Development, Drafting, and Operations departments to ensure accurate definition and execution of technical solutions. * Participate in technical project monitoring during design, construction, and commissioning phases, conducting periodic site visits. * Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and collaborate on continuous optimization of treatment processes and facilities. **What are we looking for?** * Education: Technical Engineering degree or equivalent. * Advanced proficiency in office software and technical tools (CAD and similar). * Ability to identify problems and resolve them effectively. * Analytical, synthetic, and writing skills. * Communication and teamwork abilities. * Additional languages valued (English). * Willingness to travel (weekly). **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract and career development plan. * Competitive financial compensation and flexible remuneration plan. * Hybrid work mode and flexible schedule. * The opportunity to work and learn alongside industry-leading professionals. * The opportunity to gain experience in a rapidly growing sector: sustainability and waste management. **Who are we?** At Urbaser, we are one of the world’s leading environmental solutions providers—a global company dedicated to enhancing the value of the planet’s resources to build a more sustainable tomorrow.
