Country Spain Province Alcalá de Henares \- Madrid Application Deadline 08/05/2026 Category Direct Care **NGO Information** Aphisa, Association **Rating** (0 ratings) **info** Response rate: 54.31% **info** **Objective** ------------ Provide daily physical and emotional care to individuals with severe intellectual disability, ensuring their well-being and comfort. * Assist users with basic personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and use of sanitary facilities, guaranteeing maximum dignity, respect, and autonomy according to each individual's capabilities. * Supervise and accompany users during their daily routines, promoting safety and facilitating their integration into center activities. * Monitor users' needs during organized recreational, educational, or therapeutic activities, providing necessary support for their active participation. * Supervise and assist users during meals, ensuring adherence to specific diets, supporting proper food intake according to each user’s physical and cognitive abilities. * Collaborate in organizing and maintaining order in the dining area, ensuring user comfort during service. * Attend to and supervise the Transport Service, ensuring compliance with safety regulations during users’ travel to and from the center, facilitating access to transportation and providing mobility support when necessary. * Supervise users’ safe boarding, alighting, and seating in transport vehicles, safeguarding their well-being and ensuring appropriate accompaniment. * Collaborate with responsible professionals in delivering therapeutic and educational activities, supporting users’ participation and assisting in implementing necessary adaptations. * Facilitate users’ integration into group activities, respecting their individual paces and specific needs. * Assist in implementing basic medical guidelines provided by center professionals, such as medication administration (as instructed), vital sign monitoring, and accompanying users to medical appointments. * Remain vigilant for any changes in users’ health status, immediately reporting incidents to medical staff or center management. * Promote maximum possible autonomy for each user, supporting independence within achievable limits through everyday activities such as eating, dressing, and moving around the center. * Participate in periodic team meetings, providing information on users’ progress and needs to adjust interventions and plan new support strategies. * Ensure a safe and clean environment for users by supervising facilities, objects, and equipment, and promptly reporting any safety- or hygiene-related incidents. * Collaborate in cleaning and organizing center areas related to direct user care and shared spaces. **Profile:** Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician; Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Care for Dependent Persons; or Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Socio-Healthcare, or equivalent. Minimum 3 months’ experience in caring for individuals with intellectual disability, preferably with severe or profound disability.
