Join our team at ALVIC, at our Industrial Plant in La Carolina! **We are looking for a passionate and proactive Project Engineer to lead the development of our industrial projects.** As a Project Engineer, your mission will be to plan, organize, execute, and lead the development of different processes and projects at our industrial plant. Following the organization's established criteria, you will work to achieve the objectives set for each phase and for the project as a whole. **Job Responsibilities:** * Leading new projects from initial phase to commissioning. * Defining, developing, and coordinating new production lines. * Improving and fine-tuning processes related to machinery. * Continuous improvement of product and manufacturing and quality processes. * Training operational staff on new manufacturing and quality processes. * Designing and defining technical requirements for industrial facilities. * Coordinating installation of new machinery and coordination with suppliers. * Coordinating external supplier companies and internal resources in the implementation of new production systems and processes. * Providing technical support to various areas and manufacturing plants within the group. * Implementing automation and control systems. * Optimizing rejects and waste. * Accompanying and training external and internal group personnel during visits. * Analyzing new technologies. * Preparing budgets. * Conducting international travel for machinery acceptance and attendance at professional trade fairs. * Managing budgets for project development. * Direct supervision of internal personnel collaborating on projects. * Proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * Collaboration on energy efficiency during task execution. **Requirements:** * Academic background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. * Specific knowledge in industrial automation systems, interpretation of electrical diagrams, drawing design, compressed air, prototype development, and control systems. * Computer skills, especially in the Office suite and AutoCAD. * Advanced level of technical English, intermediate level of general English. * Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in similar roles. * Knowledge in aspiration systems, mechanical system calculations, alternative energies, logistics, and machine vision will be valued. **Who we are?** ***ALVIC*** *is a Spanish-origin company with global presence, a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality panels and furniture components for the furniture and decoration industry.
