At Sener Aerospace and Defense, we are seeking to hire a Junior Software Engineer for electronic systems at our Madrid–Tres Cantos office. We are a pioneering engineering company specializing in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. You will join a multidisciplinary team (hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical engineering) developing equipment used to test control electronics and mechanisms for antenna stabilization systems, robotic couplings and anchoring systems, telescope focusing and scanning systems, among others. **Your responsibilities:** * Learn about the types of test equipment we develop and their applications. * Develop new embedded software. * Design new software features based on system requirements. * Maintain existing software by adding new functionalities and fixing bugs. * Develop and manage source code under Git version control. * Communicate and coordinate with team members developing firmware, electronics, or mechanical components. * Deploy and validate application software for test equipment during certification or production campaigns. * Define software validation procedures. **What we expect from you:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics. * Demonstrable experience of at least two years in a similar role. * Proficiency in C or C++ programming. * Advanced English language skills. * Intermediate-level office software proficiency.
