LANGUAGE TEACHER EXTERNAL REF: 274/2025 LOCATION: Malgrat de Mar AREA: Social Action PROGRAM: International Protection POSITION MISSION: Support program users in their social integration process through teaching Spanish and Catalan. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assessing program users’ linguistic training needs and referring them to appropriate learning levels. * Identifying and coordinating other local language training resources. Referring program users to such resources following professional assessment. * Preparing and delivering Spanish and Catalan classes tailored to program users’ varying learning levels (literacy, intermediate, advanced). * Developing training materials adapted to different learning levels, for use by both instructors and students. * Organizing daily, weekly, and/or monthly class schedules. * Conducting individualized tutoring sessions for users requiring additional support. * Preparing monitoring reports and final program justification documents, as well as other documentation in coordination with other professionals. * Managing I3L, SIRIA (Information Systems for Refugees, Immigrants and Asylum Seekers), and/or other program databases or files. * Participating in team coordination meetings, as well as meetings with other departments and programs within the organization or with external entities. * Strengthening and supporting other professional team members. * Supporting and mentoring program volunteers or interns. * Reporting any incidents occurring within the program to the designated program coordinator. * As staff of Movimiento por la Paz \- MPDL \-, participating in initiatives aimed at protection against abuse and harassment, and ensuring compliance with and respect for the organization’s internal Code of Conduct. **EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS** * CONTRACT: Permanent contract. Immediate start. Group 1 under the Social Action Collective Agreement. * WORKING HOURS: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (35 hours/week during summer). Flexible scheduling to meet program needs according to action planning. * SALARY: As per organizational pay scales. * HOLIDAYS: 23 working days plus specific holidays under the Collective Agreement (pro-rated according to start date). **Profile:** **PROFILE** * EDUCATION: University degree (diploma or bachelor’s) in disciplines related to teaching or social intervention.
