We are currently seeking a POWER ELECTRONICS R\&D ENGINEER to join the team of an international company specialized in power electronics, committed to supporting the Energy Transition and Electrification. The company is located in Argentona. ### **What will you do? Your main responsibilities will include:** * Design, customization, and validation of IGBT/MOSFET-based power converters with power levels between 7.5 and 160 kW. * Microcontroller programming in C language. * Design and tuning of control algorithms for power converters. * Design and improvement of analog and digital signal acquisition and processing systems. * Design of digital communications at both hardware and software levels. * Providing expert advice to other departments such as pre-sales, after-sales, product engineering, QA, and production, as required by the company. ### **What benefits can we offer you?** * Full-time workweek (37 hours) with flexible working hours. * Continuous training, both internal and external. * A fun, creative, and collaborative team environment. * All essentials for a comfortable and productive workspace, including free fruit, coffee, and a subsidized lunch catering service. REQUIREMENTS **What we expect from you:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. * More than 5 years of experience. * Proficiency in simulation tools for power converters (Open Modelica, LTSpice, etc.). * Structured and meticulous mindset. * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent interpersonal abilities. * Good command of spoken and written English. * Competent use of standard office applications, such as Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, and common email platforms. **It will be a plus if you also have:** **** * Solid knowledge in Power Electronics. * Fundamentals of System Architecture. * Firmware programming for microcontrollers and embedded systems (C, C\+\+). * Ability to design PCBs using Altium. * Project management systems (Redmine)
