End-to-end QA role with automated test development #### **Job Description** At **The Whiteam Consulting**, we are looking for a **Senior QA Automation Engineer with Java** to join a specialized service in **Foreign Exchange (FX)**, focused on ensuring the quality of all developments and enhancements in this area. You will participate in an international team working under the **Agile methodology**, fully in **English**, and within a modern technical environment where automation, test framework design, and software quality are fundamental pillars. The role involves ensuring end-to-end quality, developing automated tests, managing defects, and closely collaborating with development and business teams. #### **Responsibilities** * Ensure functional and technical quality of FX area developments. * Participate in an **English-speaking Agile team**. * Design, execution, and maintenance of **test cases**. * Development of **automated scripts** using Java. * Automation of functional and regression tests. * Reporting, tracking, and documentation of defects. * Development and maintenance of **custom automation frameworks**. * Execution of backend tests using Postman/REST. * Continuous collaboration with developers, analysts, and product owners. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience in test design and management using **Jira-Xray**. * **Advanced Java proficiency** for coding and designing automated tests. * Experience with **CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions**. * Strong experience in automation with **Selenium + Java**. * Experience executing backend tests using **Postman/REST**. * Solid Java programming foundation, including data structures and programming logic. * Minimum **3 years of experience in QA Automation roles**. * **Knowledge of FX (Foreign Exchange)**. * **C1 English level** (project conducted entirely in English). #### **Conditions** * Work mode: **Remote**, from anywhere in Spain. * Fully secure environments: no personal data is handled—only fictitious test data. * Reduced working hours of **7 hours per day** during **July and August** (any exceptions will be compensated). * Approximate salary: 38,000 € **Company** Joining THEWHITEAM means collaborating with a company composed of professionals with extensive experience in technology consulting.
