We are looking for a CIP\-CCD/Reagents Operator to join our team at Salares Norte. Purpose Ensure continuous and efficient operation of equipment in the CIP/CCD/reactives area. This contributes to effective gold and silver production by ensuring operational variables are properly controlled and adjusted, thereby guaranteeing output quality and quantity in the leaching process. The primary challenge for the CIP\-CCD/Reagents Operator is maintaining operational continuity under high-altitude working conditions and in a remote environment. This requires balancing precision in equipment operation with the safe handling of hazardous substances. Additionally, the operator must coordinate equipment shutdowns and efficient maintenance without negatively impacting production. **In this position, your key responsibilities will include:** Operating and monitoring CIP/CCD/reactives area equipment, ensuring proper functionality of structures and components. Controlling and adjusting operational variables such as pulp density, flow rate, and rake height level to optimize the leaching process. Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and prevent incidents. Coordinating work and teams requiring equipment shutdowns, minimizing downtime during both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Who Are We Looking For? **Education:** Graduate of Technical Higher Education programs in Plant Operations, Materials Processing, or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within mining or mineral processing, specifically operating equipment in leaching plants or handling chemical reagents. **Knowledge:** Operation of gold and silver leaching plants; control and adjustment of operational variables in leaching processes; advanced knowledge of CIP and CCD equipment operation; safe handling of hazardous substances such as sodium cyanide and caustic soda. **Skills:** Experience operating and monitoring CIP/CCD area equipment; controlling operational variables; coordinating equipment shutdowns for maintenance; performing regular inspections; maintaining operational records and reporting to supervisors. **Position Conditions:** **Shift:** 7x7 **Work Location:** Salares Norte (Atacama Region) **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term **Reports To:** Process Manager **Department:** Plant Working at Gold Fields Chile means joining a global, cutting-edge mining company that places people at its core and prioritizes a safety culture.
