Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

An agri-food company specializing in mangoes and avocados is seeking to hire an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join its team. The candidate will perform essential functions to ensure the proper operation of electromechanical systems. Main responsibilities * **Preventive and corrective maintenance** of machinery in the handling and packaging line. * Diagnosis and repair of **electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures**. * Maintenance of **conveyors, belts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, and pumps**. * Inspection and repair of **sensors, photoelectric cells, limit switches, solenoid valves, and actuators**. * Work on **electrical panels**, contactors, relays, frequency inverters, and protective devices. * Detection of faults in **PLCs and automation systems**, where applicable. * Maintenance of avocado **calibration, sorting, classification, washing, and packaging equipment**. * Inspection of **refrigerated chambers, refrigeration systems, and cold equipment**, within the scope of responsibility. * Adjustment and replacement of **bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, and transmission components**. * Execution of periodic inspections to prevent **production stoppages**. * Recording of failures, repairs, and tasks performed. * Monitoring of **spare parts and maintenance material stock**. * Compliance with **safety, occupational risk prevention, and food hygiene regulations**. * Coordination with production supervisors to resolve failures with minimal disruption. * Participation in the **installation and commissioning of new machinery**. Prior knowledge and/or experience in **industrial electricity, mechanics, automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and maintenance of food processing machinery** are considered a strong asset.
