**Cognodata**, a leader in the Customer Science and Marketing Automation sectors, dedicated to generating business results through advanced customer data management, driving industry transformation and enhancing competitive positioning, is seeking **an intern** for its Madrid offices with a strong technical foundation and intellectual curiosity to work on developing advanced agentic systems applied to scientific and mathematical research.
Main **responsibilities** include:
* Automating research tasks (related work, hypothesis generation, relationship detection)
* Proposing improvements or novel approaches to existing work
* Experimenting with LLM-based cognitive architectures
* Designing agents capable of reasoning, experimenting, and learning

**Requirements:**

Final-year undergraduate or Master’s student in: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields
Proficiency in Python (a test will be administered)
Strong abstraction ability and structured thinking
Interest in: Artificial Intelligence, Agent-Based Systems, AI Applications in Research
Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in teams
Advanced English proficiency (mandatory)
* Desirable (highly valued if you have it):
Knowledge of logic, algebra, or computability theory
Experience with: Local LLMs (e.g., Ollama), frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen
Interest in: Mathematical proofs, Category Theory, Solving complex problems
