From the moment a guest enters one of our hotels, they step into a truly memorable experience. As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager in supervising all aspects related to cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring high quality standards are maintained. Your day-to-day responsibilities: Support the cleaning supervisor in preparing the department’s annual operating budget and financial plans. Monitor the budget and control expenses with a focus on increasing productivity. \* Maintain appropriate inventory levels by managing room-related supply and labor costs (e.g.: reuse of linens and towels, laundry services). \* Manage daily staffing needs, plan and assign tasks, and set performance and development goals for employees. Provide guidance, training, and regular feedback to help manage conflicts and improve employee performance. \* Inspect common areas, rooms/suites, equipment, and linens to ensure cleanliness and good condition, advising team members on areas needing improvement. \* Handle guest complaints and special requests, including those from VIPs and repeat visitors, to achieve full satisfaction. \* Ensure staff are properly trained and have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties. ### **Requirements** More than two years of experience in housekeeping and laundry, preferably in a hotel of similar size, including supervisory experience. \* Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus. \* Knowledge of Opera is desirable. \* Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-oriented, and passionate about service.
