In this role, you will work closely under the guidance of our **Central Platform Team** to build our Databricks engineering framework, establish reusable development patterns, and advance our core codebase. If you are passionate about modern data engineering practices, AI\-assisted development, and building scalable data solutions, we’d love to have you on the team. **Qualifications*** Proven experience as a **Data Engineer** or Data Platform Engineer working with **Databricks**. * Strong proficiency in **PySpark, SQL, and Python** within the Databricks ecosystem. * Hands\-on experience with modern IDEs (**VS Code**) and version control workflows (**Git / GitHub**). * Familiarity or eager enthusiasm for using **AI\-assisted coding tools** (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for code). * Experience implementing design patterns, reusable frameworks, and data pipeline modularization. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, platform\-guided environment. **Nice to Have** * Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold). * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). * Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). **Additional Information** * **Work Location:** 100% Remote. * **Working Hours:** Ability to work full\-time within the **Spain time zone (CET/CEST)** * **Workload:** Full\-time (40h/week) * **Contract Type:** Temporary / Fixed\-Term Contract \- 9 months **If you are passionate about data, development \& tech, we want to meet you!** * Talan Spain’s commitment to non\-discrimination based on gender, race, ideology, or any other reason, in accordance with the company’s "Equality Plan" and the current regulations on gender equality between women and men (Royal Decree\-Law 6/2019\).
