We hope it excites you as much as it does us! **About the position:** We are seeking an API Developer for our IT Development team, with strong communication and liaison skills across various IT teams, oriented toward resolving technical issues with required teams, demonstrating high commitment and responsibility, and eager to embrace new challenges. Your main responsibilities will include: * Design and estimation: \- Collaborate with design teams to understand software requirements and estimate development time * Create flowcharts, schematics, and technical specifications. * Coding: \- Write code using required programming languages within your domain * Implement algorithms and data structures to solve specific problems. * Testing and Debugging: \- Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure software functions correctly. * Identify and fix code defects (bugs). * Maintenance and Updates: \- Update and enhance existing software. * Resolve performance, scalability, and security issues. * Collaboration: \- Work with other team members, such as designers, analysts, and project managers. * Participate in meetings and discussions to ensure product consistency and quality. * Documentation: \- Document code by writing comments and manuals for future developers, users, and system administrators **About you:** * 4\-5 years of experience developing and building APIs with Mulesoft * Technical design and functional understanding of applications * Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements * Mulesoft: This is the API management platform used for development. Knowledge of IBM API Connect is a plus. * API development under REST and SOAP models, and microservices development * API-level security under various policies (apiKey, OAuth, etc.) * Encryption/decryption under different models (AES256, etc.) * Programming languages: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA * Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL * Tools: Eclipse, Maven, GIT, JUnit (testing) * Insurance domain knowledge is a plus Hernández García, Laura Mulesoft,
