Administering and ensuring proper management and follow-up of contract implementation and compliance. Monitoring supplier performance and understanding root causes of specific supplier performance issues, as well as defining and leading corrective action plans. Resolving and supervising chronic internal and external service and operational issues, as required by business/project needs. Collaborating in the responsible management of the supply chain: engaging suppliers on CSR and sustainability matters, complying with Acciona’s Supplier Qualification standards. How do we envision you? **Academic Qualifications / Credentials:** Preferred Degree: Engineering (Industrial, Civil), Architecture, Bachelor’s Degree, Economics, Business Administration (ADE), or a related field. An MBA is preferred. Certification in Procurement Management (C.P.M.) and other similar professional certifications are also preferred. **Experience:** 2–3 years of experience as a global supplier manager in national and international contexts, and as a leader of a diverse, multicultural team driving shared objectives. Primary experience required in category-based spend management, preferably in categories related to those listed above. **Competency Profile:** Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain composure during complex negotiations. Extensive experience in contract management. Must be expert in financial analysis, reporting, foreign exchange risk, and bid evaluation. Strong analytical skills required, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Fully competent in contract management; e-commerce / information technology; TCO / cost-driven design; presentation skills; communication skills; project management; value-based decision analysis; process design and improvement; understanding of emerging markets and their potential within managed spend categories; consensus-building and meeting leadership; demonstrated ability to influence across all business levels. Fully competent in optimizing one’s own capabilities; demonstrating openness and self-confidence; effectively managing interactions with others based on value contribution; exercising personal influence; driving client-centric business strategies; understanding systems; embracing and building accountability; and applying judgment and common sense, with a high degree of proactivity toward internal clients. **Knowledge:** Must possess knowledge of the spend categories managed, as well as the ability to benchmark strategy and performance against world-class standards, market category indicators, and cost drivers. Must understand the raw material markets used in business processes relevant to their categories, as well as have experience managing them, where applicable. **Make vs. Buy Analysis:** Ability to guide outsourcing evaluations when outsourcing is preferred over internal delivery / manufacturing and capital investment. **Supplier Development (SRM):** Ability to analyze business strategy and supplier development requirements to deliver necessary materials (direct or indirect) and services at optimal total cost of ownership. **Knowledge of IT Tools and Systems for Procurement:** Use of e-sourcing procurement platforms with catalog suites (RFx), spend analytics modules, SRM contract repositories, SharePoint, and ERP MM and FI modules.
