**About the Role**
------------------
We are seeking an **optical fiber and optoelectronics systems engineer** to participate in the design, characterization, and validation of photonic solutions for the aerospace sector in Madrid (Getafe), under a hybrid working model. The role focuses on **designing, testing, and validating photonic and optical fiber systems for aerospace applications.** It includes performing **measurements, characterization, and technical reporting**, integrating optical and electronic data.
The objective is to ensure that systems meet requirements and operate correctly.
**Key Responsibilities**
------------------------
* Conduct testing and characterization of optoelectronic components and systems.
* Perform measurements and validations of optical fiber-based systems.
* Prepare technical reports and analysis of results.
* Define photonic system requirements and support the design of interrogation architectures.
* Collaborate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams in evaluating technical solutions.
**Required Profile**
--------------------
* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, or related field.
* Experience in **optoelectronic and optical fiber systems.**
* Knowledge of **photonic/electronic instrumentation** (oscilloscopes, electronic spectrum analyzers, laboratory power supplies).
* Experience with data processing languages (MATLAB, Python, MathWorks).
* Advanced English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
