**Job Requirements** **Key Responsibilities** * Supporting the development of new Technical Specifications for clothing and equipment intended for the client's units, including preliminary review of current specifications and proposing improvements. * Supporting the preparation of the Administrative Clauses Specification for clothing and equipment. * Supporting the review and pricing proposal for tender submissions related to clothing items and equipment. * Providing technical support in reviewing quality test results for materials and proposing necessary modifications to specifications. Providing technical support in evaluating reports and test results conducted on raw materials, components, and finished products, and proposing, where appropriate, modifications to technical specifications and specification requirements. * Supporting the analysis and monitoring of quality incidents related to clothing items and proposing improvements. * Providing technical advisory services on technical textiles, personal protective equipment (PPE), manufacturing processes, garment construction, finishing, and textile product certification. * Supporting the definition, monitoring, and control of regulatory requirements and certifications applicable to technical garments, corporate uniforms, and protective equipment. * Supporting proposals for uniformity improvements through market analysis, identification of potential garment modifications, and incorporation of new garment items. **Work Experience** **Minimum Requirements** * Qualification: * Technical Industrial Engineering degree with specialization in textiles, OR * Textile Technology and Design Engineering degree, OR * Any other Technical, Higher, or Bachelor’s Engineering degree, provided it is complemented by a Master’s degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent. * Experience in textile engineering projects. **Minimum required: 2 years** * MS Office (Word, Excel). **Minimum required: 1 year** **Desirable / Additional Requirements** * Professional experience in the field of textile engineering. **Desirable: 72 months** * Knowledge of the textile sector and garment manufacturing processes. **Desirable: Demonstrable knowledge of the sector, specifically related to technical garments, corporate uniforms, or personal protective equipment (PPE)** * Knowledge and experience in garment pattern-making and construction. **Desirable: Demonstrable knowledge and experience** * Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes and regulations. **Desirable: Knowledge required** * Knowledge of quality assessment processes and testing methods for raw materials and finished products. **Desirable: Knowledge required** * Experience using professional vector graphic design software for creating and editing technical illustrations, schematics, infographics, and graphical documentation. **Desirable**.
