At **Grupo Planeta**, we are looking for a **Facility Technician** for our Madrid offices. Your mission will be to plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive, corrective, and legal maintenance of buildings and facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing operational support for incidents and interventions.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
* **Operational Management**:
+ Monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, fire protection (PCI), elevator, cleaning, and other systems.
+ Coordination of interventions with suppliers.
+ Incident tracking and timely resolution.
* **Documentary and Regulatory Management**:
+ Control of mandatory technical documentation (RITE, REBT, OCA inspections, etc.).
+ Uploading documentation and tracking compliance.
* **Financial Management**:
+ Requesting, analyzing, and validating budgets.
+ Cost control and purchase order tracking.
* **Supplier Relationship Management**:
+ Liaison with maintenance providers, cleaning companies, security firms, and renovation contractors.
+ Service quality evaluation and monitoring.
What would we like to see in your CV?
* Higher Vocational Training Degree (e.g., Installation Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent) or Technical Engineering / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Technical, Building, or similar).
* 2–5 years of experience in Facility Management, maintenance, or property management roles.
* Prior experience in large-scale retail, organized food service, retail chains, or multi-site environments.
* National geographical mobility for occasional visits as required by operational needs.
* Experience in multi-site or retail maintenance is desirable.
* Technical knowledge: Low-voltage electrical installations; HVAC and climate control systems; Technical regulations applicable to commercial buildings; Maintenance management using GMAO/CAFM systems; Microsoft Office (Intermediate-to-advanced Excel); ERP and maintenance management platforms.
* Basic knowledge of fire protection systems (PCI), plumbing, locksmithing, commercial shutters, minor construction works, and finishes.
