




Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Calculation Engineer to design systems and perform electrical studies for power generation plants, renewable energy projects, and industrial facilities. Key Highlights: 1. Advanced electrical design and studies for various types of power plants and industrial facilities. 2. Dynamic modeling and simulation of electrical systems and machines. 3. Compliance analysis with grid codes and project coordination. Through our engineering division P\&PD (ATS Global), we are managing the recruitment process for an Electrical Calculation Engineer on behalf of one of our clients based in Madrid. Responsibilities: * Electrical system design. * Static and dynamic electrical studies for power generation plants, wind farms, photovoltaic plants, BESS, and industrial facilities. * Load flow, short-circuit, and motor starting studies. * Grounding grid calculation studies. * Cable sizing studies and protection coordination and setting. * Modeling of electrical machines: conventional generators, combined cycles, wind turbines. * Dynamic simulation of electrical systems; stability studies. * Grid code compliance analysis. * Coordination with other disciplines as well as with the client. * Supervision of junior engineers’ work. * University degree in Electrical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience performing electrical calculations for power generation plants, wind farms, photovoltaic plants, BESS, industrial facilities, or similar projects. * Knowledge of electrical standards: IEC, European Directives, Spanish Regulations, IEEE. Familiarity with various grid codes. * Proficiency in ETAP, DigSilent, and PSS/E is required. Experience with other tools such as PSCAD, CDEGS, and CANECO BT is advantageous. * English language proficiency at minimum B2 level. * Willingness to undertake short- or medium-term international travel. * Permanent employment contract with the client, offering attractive remuneration: fixed salary \+ variable component.
