Description

The mission of the Program Financing Technician is to manage grants from both public and private donors, including international cooperation initiatives by public administrations, Development Education (EPD), and calls for proposals issued by companies and foundations, carrying out the technical and financial formulation, monitoring, and justification of such grants in accordance with the objectives set forth in the annual planning of the Program Financing Team. Manage and monitor external audits of grants requiring such oversight, coordinating with all personnel involved in the project. Coordinate and carry out field monitoring activities for strategic programs and projects within the incumbent’s portfolio. Support the Unit Leader by providing necessary documentation and information for defining and designing instruments, tools, and procedures used in the comprehensive planning, monitoring, evaluation, and accountability of projects funded by IIPP or by companies and foundations through calls for proposals. Minimum one year of experience managing cooperation projects and at least three years managing EPD projects co-financed by public or private entities, at both technical and financial-accounting levels. Mandatory experience in external audit and evaluation processes, as well as familiarity with information systems, logical framework methodology, and knowledge of legislation and call guidelines issued by Public Institutions in the territory. * Master’s Degree in International Cooperation * Catalan (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * English (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * Competencies/knowledge: Advanced-level English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; Catalan language proficiency is also valued. Advanced-level MS Excel skills are required. Experience managing European cooperation funds and funds from other international agencies is desirable.
