




**Project:** Biomass-type energy production plant near Torrelavega. **Responsibilities/Job Functions:** Reporting to the Construction Manager and functionally to the Quality Department Manager of EAG. The candidate will have authority to access work areas, identify quality issues, and initiate and provide necessary corrective actions, being responsible for the following functions, among others: * Ensure that quality requirements are effectively communicated throughout the site organization and properly implemented, * Review and approve subcontractors' Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans, * Coordinate the activities of the in-house inspection team as well as QA/QC teams from subcontractors and external laboratories, * Ensure proper material reception by coordinating inspections upon delivery, * Coordinate the development and/or review of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP/PPI) to control on-site activities (civil works, structural assembly, piping, electrical, instrumentation/control), * Verify construction and assembly activities according to ITP/PPI documents, * Guarantee the proper execution of required tests and inspections (hydrostatic tests, non-destructive testing of welded joints, heat treatments, etc.), * Coordinate the implementation of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) plans defined and executed by subcontractors on site, * Initiate and manage the non-conformance process when applicable, * Provide periodic updates on the progress of their area, * Verify, together with the subcontractor (and with the client when applicable), specific construction or assembly work prior to acceptance, * Supervise the handover of work units between construction disciplines or between construction and commissioning, * Support commissioning and facility start-up activities, * Participate in preparing the documentation required for the official legalization of the facility by the competent authority upon completion. To this end, coordinate on-site inspections with the notified body required in each case, * Prepare the final quality dossier for the entire facility and deliver the project's final documentation. **Minimum Academic Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering. **Desirable Additional Training:** Site safety coordinator / Occupational Health and Safety (PRL). **Required Experience:** * 5 years as a Quality Manager/Supervisor in industrial projects, preferably in Energy. * Desirable: experience working with or within inspection/legalization agencies. **Requirements**: Basic knowledge of key design/construction codes (Structural Code, ASME, API, etc.), **Work Location:** Torrelavega (Cantabria). The project duration is approximately 24 months, with potential continuation on other projects. Geographic flexibility is an advantage for possible future assignments on other sites. **Type of Position**: * Direct employment with EAG under a project-based contract, adhered to the local construction collective agreement.
