We are seeking home care assistants to join our team in Torrelavega. It is essential to have a personal vehicle and hold the professional certification in sociosanitary care for dependent individuals at home or social institutions. Applications from candidates with a Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification such as Nursing Assistant Technician, Sociosanitary Care Technician, or Technician in Care for Dependent Individuals will also be considered. One year of prior experience in a similar role will be valued positively. The working hours are part-time, totaling 35 hours per week, with split shifts covering morning and afternoon periods. Candidates must be available for rotating 4\-2 shifts (working 4 days and resting 2\). The employment contract is temporary, lasting 1 year. Additionally, a psycho-emotional support service available every day of the year is offered. Main responsibilities include providing care to users in their homes, following instructions and guidelines established by the responsible service technicians. This involves assistance and supervision with personal hygiene, dressing, footwear, and feeding. Tasks related to household care will also be performed, such as meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and ironing. Furthermore, support will be provided for transfers, transportation, and mobility within the home, indoor leisure activities, assistance getting up, going to bed, and/or postural changes, as well as external accompaniment outside the residence for walks or medical appointments.
