JOB DESCRIPTION Eosol Group is seeking a Facilities Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The primary purpose of this position is to design, calculate, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems in building construction and renovation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and technical and economic feasibility. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who ensures execution quality in accordance with company standards. **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION** * Design, calculate, and optimize electrical and mechanical systems (lighting, power supply, telecommunications, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, security, AV) in building construction and renovation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and technical and economic feasibility. * Ensure execution quality in accordance with company standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** Design: * Development of electrical and mechanical installation schematics and drawings across all project phases (conceptual, detailed, and construction). * Calculation of electrical installations, lighting, power supply, telecommunications, and special installations (security, AV, etc.). * Calculation of HVAC, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitation networks. * Equipment selection and quantity take-offs. Coordination and supervision: * Coordination with BIM teams, external engineering firms, and other disciplines. * Technical review of supplier and subcontractor documentation. * Technical support during tenders and bidding processes. * Ability to draft design schematics, technical reports, calculations, and justify solutions to clients and supervising engineers. * Supervision and monitoring of installation work development and execution. * Ensure compliance with current regulations. * Implement solutions and coordinate design modifications during the construction phase. * Monitor commissioning tests and startup of installations. * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of all supporting installations. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS** * Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree. * A Master’s degree in installations, energy efficiency, or BIM is desirable. * Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical installation design for building construction and renovation projects. **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES** * Proficiency in low- and medium-voltage electrical systems. * Knowledge of hydraulic and sanitary installations. * Knowledge of mechanical installations (HVAC and fire protection). * Familiarity with construction equipment and heavy machinery. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications. * Knowledge of safety regulations. * Familiarity with commissioning and startup protocols. * Experience coordinating with contractors and suppliers. **INTERPERSONAL COMPETENCIES** * English language proficiency: C1. * Occasional site visits. * Proficiency in calculation tools such as CYPE, HAP, Tekton 3D, DMElect, Dialux, etc. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks (BIM). * Knowledge of national and international regulations (RITE, CTE, NFPA, UNE, ISO). * Technical rigor and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. * Clear and assertive communication. * Proactivity, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
