At Sopra Steria, we are seeking to hire a Software Engineer to collaborate on an **international gambling-sector project.** You will participate in **the entire SDLC**, carrying out tasks related to analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. The project applies **agile methodologies and a DevOps philosophy**, and is carried out by **multidisciplinary and high-performance teams** that interact directly with product owners, collaborating on the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of web platforms and applications built on microservice architectures. Requirements **What are we looking for?** * At least 3 years’ experience in **Java and microservices development.** * Experience with Spring Framework (Spring, **Spring Boot**, Spring Data, Spring Security) * Front-end development experience with Angular, **React, TypeScript**, etc. * Design of **REST APIs** * Experience with automated testing (**JUnit, Mockito**); knowledge of other sound testing practices and test coverage aligned with the testing pyramid is desirable * Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (**CI/CD**) environments * Practical experience with **agile methodologies** * Experience with containers (**Docker, Kubernetes**) * Experience with message queues (**Kafka, RabbitMQ**) * **Advanced English** (B2 or higher) (mandatory) Desirable: * Knowledge of databases, both **SQL and NoSQL**: (MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle...) * Knowledge of caching systems (**Redis, Couchbase, Hazelcast**) * Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (**Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana**) * Experience with cloud platforms (**AWS, Azure, GCP**) * Understanding of **clean code principles**, software design, and collaborative team code reviews * Ability to work effectively in a team, proactive mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and stay up to date.
