We are looking for a Data Engineer for a project with one of our clients in the insurance sector. Requirements What are we looking for? At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer. Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows in a cloud environment using Azure and Databricks. A strong track record in building robust data solutions, resolving production issues, and collaborating within a data team. Experience with a Lakehouse architecture is highly desirable. Experience with Azure including: Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of the Databricks platform, including: Apache Spark (job and cluster optimization), Databricks workflows and jobs, Delta Lake. Familiarity with the Medallion architecture. Excellent data modeling skills; proven experience in data anonymization. Programming knowledge in Python and PySpark. Strong SQL skills. Solid understanding of development best practices, version control, and CI/CD.
