MISSION As a member of the Software Architecture team, your objective will be to lead and govern the Software Architecture domain of Grupo Santalucía, defining the strategy and evolution of the corporate software architecture, establishing the necessary standards, reference models, and technological assets to ensure alignment with the company’s technology strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper delivery of domain services through management of teams, activities, capabilities, and budget; participating in the execution of corporate projects; and promoting coordination with various business and technology areas to facilitate the delivery of efficient, sustainable, and transformation-aligned solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES **Software Architecture Domain Coordination:** You will be accountable for the domain, reporting to the Technology Architecture Lead. You will manage and lead the people and capabilities of the team, including external vendor teams delivering services across the domain. You will collaborate on budget management and preparation for the Software Architecture domain, monitor billing and forecasting processes for budget lines managed by the domain, and directly participate in annual project portfolio estimation activities. **Liaison with Other Areas and Departments:** You will serve as the primary point of contact for all areas and departments interacting with the domain, ensuring coordination with other subdomains of Technology Architecture, as well as domains within the Enterprise Architecture department. Technology Evolution: Manage and govern the roadmap for evolving Grupo Santalucía’s corporate software architecture, including designing and developing PoCs based on latest technology trends, and managing projects where the Software Architecture domain assumes the role of Project Manager / IT Lead. You must ensure proper alignment with the rest of the Technology Architecture domain to achieve a unified technology strategy. Reference Software Architecture Management: Define best practices, policies, design and development guidelines for technological components of the architecture for application across the Santalucía ecosystem, as well as manage the governance model and lifecycle of architecture assets. Project and Initiative Leadership: Manage participation in definition, design, construction, deployment, and production phases of applications from the Software Architecture perspective, following the defined development lifecycle and methodologies for the ecosystem, and contribute to their ongoing evolution. Production Support: Help equip the Organization with an agile technology architecture that—leveraging components and assets—enables the Technology Department to rapidly and efficiently meet business needs outlined in the Strategic and IT Transformation Plan. **Teams to Collaborate With:** **Collaboration with Demand Management:** Receive business demand and associated requirements, determining whether functional architecture involvement is required and the nature of such involvement. Collaboration with Application Development, Channels/Customers, and the Analytics Center of Excellence departments: These are the recipients of defined solution models and are responsible for implementing them per those definitions. Collaboration with Infrastructure and Operations: Supporting implementation of technological components and platforms across all environments, as well as providing operational support for application production. **Business Support:** Support in defining business needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with the corporate IT strategy. **Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture (other domains):** Align with the guidelines and strategy of all architecture domains as part of the Enterprise Architecture department’s function—both when developing solution models and validating technical designs. REQUIREMENTS **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Telecommunications Minimum English level B2 required (C1 preferred) **Desirable Qualifications:** Additional training in architecture or IT governance frameworks. Certification in microservices and J2EE architectures. **Required Experience:** Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT sector and at least 5 years in similar roles. Experience executing transformation processes in large organizations will be valued. **Required Knowledge:** **Demonstrable experience in:** Microservice and batch-processing architectures based on Spring Boot and Spring Batch, deployed on PaaS/CaaS platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift). Additional experience in J2EE environments and C-language applications will be valued. Micro-frontend architectures based on Angular and Nginx. Experience in traditional HTML/JavaScript-based architectures will be valued. Mobile Architecture: Knowledge of native languages Kotlin and Swift. Development and deployment of applications or use of native Microsoft Azure services. Event-Driven Architecture (EDA): Experience and knowledge of streaming and messaging platforms/protocols such as Apache Kafka and ActiveMQ. API design and documentation based on standards including OpenAPI 3/Swagger 2, AVRO, AsyncAPI, JSON, YAML, WS\-\*, AMQP, MQTT, JMS. CI/CD automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible, Tekton, Bitbucket, Argo CD. Test automation within the microservices context. Experience as an IT Project Manager. **Desirable Knowledge:** Experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools, especially ARIS. Enterprise architecture capabilities that enhance IT value to business. Functional knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector. Insurance reference models such as ACORD. Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF. Project management experience. Knowledge of agile methodologies. Knowledge of corporate management tools, especially SAP products. Knowledge of cloud technology stacks, including SaaS, PaaS, etc. (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience in IT management and governance models.
