Objective
Requirements
University degree in fields related to the position, preferably in Political Science, another social science, or international affairs;
At least 2 years of professional experience in similar or related fields, preferably within governmental, intergovernmental, and/or international non\-governmental organizations;
Native proficiency in Spanish or English, with very good working knowledge of the other language. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset;
Excellent teamwork skills;
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize requests and needs;
Strong dedication and motivation; energy, enthusiasm, and commitment.
Main Tasks
Support the Programmes Director, Senior Programme Officers, and Programme Officers in managing specific projects or activities. This support may include:
Assisting in the design, preparation, and implementation of mission agendas—including confirming meetings between Club de Madrid Members, experts, and key national stakeholders—as well as drafting, sending, and following up on invitations;
Managing the participation of Club de Madrid Members, high\-level advisors, and experts in project activities and Policy Dialogues/Labs;
Liaising with relevant departments to arrange logistics for Members’ and experts’ travel and participation in programme activities and events;
Assisting with post\-mission follow\-up tasks—including sending thank\-you letters, distributing project materials and outcomes to participants and beneficiaries, or producing communication products in coordination with the Communications unit;
Assisting in preparing and translating materials for proposals and reports;
Assisting in producing briefing books and background materials for programmes and activities;
Supporting interaction and collaboration with the Communications unit to communicate the results and impact of Club de Madrid projects;
Coordinating the organization of internal programming\-related meetings—including preparing materials for and from these meetings;
Supporting the development of new project proposals—including drafting concept notes, preparatory materials, conducting research, and preparing briefings on specific thematic issues or country analyses.
